In Valorant, I was responsible for a large amount of the environment effects of the Icebox map, collaborating with maps lead Devon Fay and VFX lead Moonsoo Park. The effects have to support the game's narrative and worldbuilding without significantly impacting performance or being obtrusive to gameplay.
Effects I worked on include vista and skybox animated elements, drifting and falling snow, aurora, fog cards, steam vents, frost, swaying cables and radianite effects, built with a combination of new and pre-existing content.
